I’m a little clueless how to go about setting the blog page with sidebars? I checked the X > Theme Options etc but a little lost.
How about we take this example? How can I replicate a blog post similar to https://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/affiliate-marketing-101-self-hosted-video/ with sidebars and greyish background?

Thank you for reaching out to us. To enable the sidebar on blog page, please navigate to Theme Options > Layout and Design then set the Content Layout to Content Left, Sidebar Right or vice versa.
Then navigate to Theme Options > Blog > Layout and set to Use Global Content Layout
Once the sidebar is enabled you can add widgets to your Main Sidebar via Appearance > Widgets. If you don’t want to use the Main Sidebar then you can simply create a new custom sidebar, add widgets in there and assign it to blog posts (see https://theme.co/docs/work-with-unlimited-sidebars)
Now to set the background color or background image, navigate to Theme Options > Layout and Design > Background Options and set the background as you need.

Thank you. I’ll give it a try now. However, just wanted to confirm if I follow the above quoted step, I hope it won’t have any impact on my existing ‘page’ layouts, correct?
Also, is there a way I can add the “Author” details on the sidebar on a blog page?
Also the social media sharing icons on the sidebar?
