What is the difference between "Fade In Left" scroll animation effect and the "Slide In Left" animation?

I’m trying to have an image fade in on scrolling to it from the left to right. However the “fade in left” scroll animation effect doesn’t appear to have any fade effect at all and instead just slides the element onto the page from the left in an identical manner to the “slide in left” animation.

I’ve placed two image elements right above/below each other on a page and set the two different animations (slide in left & fade in left). The two elements behave identically and neither actually fade that I can see.

Thanks for writing in!

The “Fade In Left” effect will be fading in while it slides from the left.
The “Slide In Left” effect only slides the element from the left.

Hope this makes sense.
