What is the best way to setup an even grid for photos that go 90% fullscreen when clicked?

Hi there,

What is the best way to setup an even grid for photos where they would open 90% fullscreen when the relevant thumbnail is clicked? I’m currently using the essential grid for my videos, should I then stick with that and add lightbox for the photos?

Hi Jerzy,

Thank you for writing in, yes if you already using the Essential Grid for your videos you can stick to that. And then use the simpler Responsive Lightbox shortcode for your photos.

Thanks for that @friech, would I put the code in with the rest of my codes in X > Theme Options ??

I didn’t see an option for resizing the image being displayed nor an option to adjust the gap between the main photo and the prev/next, is that something that could be changed?

Yes, you can put your CSS in Theme Options > CSS.

I see you’re using Essential Grid but I’m not sure about the issues you’re facing because I clicked the photos in your site and I didn’t see a lightbox.

I haven’t set up a photo gallery yet as I’ve been too busy with work. I just noticed that those settings were missing so I’m wondering if it’s possible to implement.
