Every time that X-theme updates, something will inevitably brake in my website, then I got to contact X-theme in order to find out what happened. The first answer is always a form about checking plugins and such and after a few posts someone figures it and I am OK until the next update.
I am sick and tired of this, and do not need any of the new stuff that are released in updates. My question is this;
Can I stop updating X-theme and Cornerstone for good? and if the answer is yes, how can I do it?

If you do not update the X theme and Cornerstone plugin, you will also do not need to update the WP core and other 3rd party plugins. If at the moment your site is all good, just leave it as is. Do not update anything. You will be find.
As soon as there are bugs or vulnerable issues in the WordPress core, then your site will become vulnerable too. And they only way to resolve that is to update to the latest version. And when you update the WordPress core, you will also need to update the theme and plugins to the latest version to make sure that everything will work as well. In most cases, outdated theme or plugins may not work with the latest version of the WordPress core.

The problem is that I am a Realtor and can’t fix stuff that brake in the updates, seem like a no win situation for me

We’re sorry to hear that! I suggest that you hire someone that will do the updates on your website. Something like monthly updates.
