What happened to my blog?

Hi, I use the X theme on my site alonthego.com, and I have been pretty happy with it. But all of a sudden today, my blog is looking wonky and I have no idea how to fix it.

Here are some examples:

  1. Where did these dots come from?

  1. These are a list of my blog posts. They’re supposed to be arranged masonry style with pictures, but the pictures are . . . gone??

  2. I’m supposed to have two columns here, as shown below in this snapshot of Cornerstone. However, on the site, they are arranged one above the other.

My blog looks ill. And I haven’t changed anything – like I said, I opened my site, alonthego.com, just today, and saw that everything is messed up. I tried it on a laptop, desktop, and mobile phone – all the same. Please help.

Hi There,

Thank you for writing in, is this issue happen after an update? I see that your site is under CloudFlare, please follow the solution provided here.

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

Thank you for your response.

I guess I’m not really tech savvy. I went to the link you provided but could not even progress beyond Step One, which is to exclude Cornerstone builder from being cache.

I used the code alonthego.com/x/

Cloudflare gave me the message “Page Rule Validation Failed.” I don’t understand why. Please advise. Thank you!

Let me amend that – I ignored step one and followed the other steps, and it worked! My website is OK now. Thank you!

Hi There,

Glad to hear that, but if you don’t do the step one (adding page rule), you’re bound to do the last step (purging cache). Because you don’t wan’t your Cornerstone/Page builder to be cached, it can cause an issue or you won’t see your changes immediately.

Try *alonthego.com/x/*

Cheers!

Hi, I tried that code exactly (copy and pasted it) but I keep getting an error message: “Page Rule validation failed: See messages for details. (Code: 1004)” There are no messages to see for more information.

Should I choose a setting from the “Pick a Setting” dropdown menu? If so, which one? Please advise.

Hi there,

The settings should be diable cache and turn off performance. For more information kindly check this article:

Thank you.
