What about Wordpress 5 and ACF 5.6.9?

I have read in the various forums that there is an incompatibility between WordPress 5 and ACF PRO 5.6.9.

I use ACF PRO 5.6.9.
Can I upgrade to Wordpress 5 without problems?

Any auto update from 5.6.9 to 5.7.8 fails.

Hi there,

Could you try deactivating ACF Pro, then going to the Dashboard > Updates and clicking “Check Again”? If you are validated, you should see the update for ACF Pro appear. We currently have 5.7.7 on auto updates but will be pushing out 5.7.8 very shortly.
