We're having issues with Pro on WP Engine in every bit of the theme

Our former theme used to work extremely well with WP Engine, so all issues are within Pro.

  1. We sometimes can save, sometimes we can’t save our changes. But mostly we can’t. The behaviour is very erratic.
  2. We can’t upload a template as the template menu doesn’t show up when we click on it.
  3. We see a ton of failed Ajax requests in the dev console.
  4. We see regularly failed cross domain JavaScript requests when we work on staging.
  5. We see 404s for /cornerstone-endpoint/ for every request.

What is going on with your theme? This is the biggest headache since months.

Hi There,

We dont have many reports of users of WP Engine.

Can you turn off all third party plugins purge cache and re-install the theme?

If that does not help,would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? Please provide following information:

Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password
  • FTP credentials

I figured out that this has to do with the Polylang plugin. Apparently you are working on it. Waiting for an update that addresses those issues.
