Hi there, since my last update weird things have happened to my footer. On a few of my pages, including my home page, the footer is now showing in the main side bar but doesn’t on some of the others.
Have no idea why this would happen???

Thanks for writing around! It looks like there is an unclosed HTML tag in your content, please review your footer content and look for any unclosed HTML tag and close it. This should get things resolved.

So I did but that hasn’t been touched in years and for it to appear in the sidebar on some pages and not others is a little odd. Not sure where to go from here…

Please do a testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
If that does not work, try switching to parent X theme.

So the issue is only happening on the specific sidebar. The sidebar that you’re using for Home, A+D, Q+A, and TVCs pages, right? I advice the same thing Nabeel adviced, please inspect for unclosed HTML tag on that sidebar.
Wordpress recently release an update that has some changes how they output the Text Widgets, so that must be it.
Try removing the content of that sidebar one at a time and see which one is causing the trouble, then you should able to fix it from there.

Fixed!!
Removed the last 3 widgets which fixed the problem. Narrowed it down to one particular widget that had old code which didn’t work with an old update.
