Weird borders around header

Greetings,

I added some new pages to my site. Upon doing so I added headers H4 and when saving the page and seeing it live, there are borders around them as in the attached image. This is the first time this has ever happened. I would like the borders removed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey @PhotographerPC,

Thanks for writing in! This sounds like a custom CSS is adding a border to the h4 element. Did you add any custom CSS in the Theme Options? A breken HTML might also contribute to this issue. We would love to check the site. Please provide us with your WP credentials or at least the page URL of the page where the issue is happening so that we can check right away.

Best Regards.

Hi @PhotographerPC,

I have tried to check by logging in to your website, but unfortunately, the given credentials are not working. I would suggest you check it once and reshare the credentials once again.

Thanks

Updated. Should be able to access and login in now.

Hi @PhotographerPC,

I have checked and found the custom CSS code is the reason behind your problem. Please remember that we don’t offer any support to the custom code and related issues.

Thanks

Thank you Tristup for helping with this issue. Is coding entered via the Custom CSS under the WP >Appearance> Custom CSS and any custom CSS entered in Cornerstone all reflected in the live version of the site? Just curious as I don’t recall entering that CSS coding in WP. That prompted the question. Thanks again.

Hi @PhotographerPC,

Any custom CSS added via Customizer will be applied all over the site irrespective of what theme and plugin you are using, and that causes the problem for you.

Thanks

Appreciate the clarifications Tristup. Appreciat all your help.

Hey @PhotographerPC,

You’re most welcome!
