Weird and random "square" over links

Dear support team,

When I move through the links, some times a weird “square” appears over the link in the color that I set for my “Site Link” in the Customize section. The behavior of this square is very random (sometimes you can see it, sometimes you don’t). That makes me think that is not a normal thing.
The only solution that I have found at the moment is let the “Site Link” color transparent and add the color to the links manually. But I’m afraid this is not the best way.

Please find attached a screenshot in which you can see the problem.

I have checked your site and I could not replicate the issue from my end. This is what I am seeing:

By the way, I can see that you are using an older version of the theme and Cornerstone. Could you please update to the latest versions? Our latest versions are:

  • X theme 6.5.5
  • Cornerstone 3.5.4

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

_After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.-

After updating Xtheme and Cornerstone, the issue seems to be fixed! It has had an easy solution.
