Wedding Demo - Slider Setting Above Masthead Deactivated

Hi Support. I am new. I loaded the Wedding Demo and on the Home-front page, I’d like to get it to look exactly like the Demo home page where there is a row above Save the Date that states Mike & Jess Are Getting Married and there’s an image in the background. That section is missing on my demo. Everything else (all other pages and photos) seemed to load except this item. Is it because the Slider Setting above the Masthead is deactivated and there is no other option to activate it? That’s what I’m running into. I don’t know if that is the reason. Is this somehting that needs to be edited in Cornerstone. I have read through the forum but couldn’t find the answer. Please help. Thanks. -Eric

Hey Eric,

Thanks for writing in. That part of the demo is powered by Slider Revolution. If you have not installed Slider Revolution before importing the demo, this is the cause of the issue.

Please try installing Slider Revolution through X > Validation then try to import the Wedding demo again.

If you’ve already installed Slider Revolution and the demo slider still wasn’t downloaded, it’s commonly due to your server limits. Please contact your host to increase your upload max size, post max size, max execution time and memory limit. You can also try doing that yourself by following this article. If they don’t work though, you need to reach out to your host. This guide shows how to increase the memory limit.

Problem solved! I download all the expanded demo sliders. I found a link in the article above to download via dropbox. Then I imported the individual wedding slider zip file to my site manually per the instructions in the article you sent. Then imported the Wedding demo again; went to the Home page and under Slider Settings Above Masthead, I was able to select the wedding slider and activate it. Visited the site and everything is fixed. Thank you so much Christian!
