Website speed - horrible

OK i need some serious help. My website speed is horrible. I don’t know what i have done :frowning:

I’ve tried multiple plugin’s, re-sized images to help me but i feel something is broken in the back end.

I don’t really know how to read the back end of my website so I’d really like someone just tell me if i need to delete everything I’ve added to wordpress all together and start again - haha! I’m just so stumped!!

It was up to 80% speed last week and now I’ve done some work on the site and bang something has gone wrong. I’m being so dramatic i know but i’ve tried all day to figure out whats happened

Thank you! I’ve taken the last few days to refresh.

Can i ask why W3 Total Cache is not an option for me to use as a plug in?

Hey Cameron,

WP Total Cache is not bundled with our theme therefore we do not provide support for it. Our performance guide only shows what’s possible when using W3TC. You’re not limited to that plugin also.

The right team to answer your question is the W3 Total Cache support. Try going to their page in the WP Repository or searching the W3 Total Cache website.

Just chiming in here as a third party, but I recently did some speed optimization on my site and got it to 100 on Google Page Speed insights on desktop, 80 or 90-something on mobile, plus 80s-90s with GTMetrix and Pingdom. All that is to say that it’s very possible to get great scores with this theme.
