Website redirecting and not loading certain pages

Hey,

My website at beermoth.co.uk/shop has some issues loading pages. The main links are not accessable from the navbar and just redirect to the homepage except for the blog page.

I’m pretty sure that the reason the main links aren’t working is because I need to save the permalinks on the Wordpress Admin. However I get a redirect loop if I try to load the Admin panel I get put into a redirect loop ending in me being here - https://beermoth.co.uk/shop/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fbeermoth.co.uk%2Fshop%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

I’m pretty sure I did have a plugin to redirect 404s to my homepage, so I’m thinking it might be something to do with that.

I can provide login details if anyone is able to get to the admin login page. /wp-login.php seems to load, but it won’t accept username/password.

Hey @JSW88,

There is no feature in our theme that could cause this. This is likely a result of permalink configuration. Try restoring WordPress’ default htaccess setup by the htaccess file in the folder where you installed WordPress by renaming it to .htaccess-backup. After this, you’ll most probably be able to login to your WordPress admin. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.

If that doesn’t help or you’re not familiar with htaccess, please hire a developer to fix the redirect issue for you.
