Website no longer hosted. Now hard links aren't working on local install

My client stopped paying for hosting without my knowledge and the website is now no longer being hosted. I want this website for my portfolio, but my hard linked images and fonts are not working on my local install. How can i fix this?

Hi there,

If the images you are trying to display are uploaded to your site’s site, they won’t be accessible as their site is gone.

If you have a copy of those images, you can upload them to your site and change the image links to refer to your site.

Hi, thanks for your reply, Jade. I seemed to have lost the CSS I added to Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS. Is all this code as well as my parent theme permanently lost?

Wait. I figured it out. I hard coded these links into my JavaScript and found that JavaScript under Appearance -> Customize -> Custom -> Edit Global JavaScript. Thanks.

One final question. Which should I update first, the theme or Wordpress?

Hi @arjunaghose22

I always recommend updating WordPress to the latest stable version first, then updating the theme or plugins. This should prevent any conflict that might happen.
