I host my website on hostgator. All of a sudden my website disappeared and I could not enter in via wp-admin. I contacted hostgator and they said it is a problem with the X theme. In order to get back into wp-admin, they had to disable the x theme, but of course the website does not present correctly. Please help me know what to do to resolve this issue. thank you
Hi @rdavis79,
Thanks for reaching out.
It might be due to the PHP version, I would suggest you check the PHP version, and make sure it is 8.0 or above. If not, please ask your Hosting Service provider to update it. If that is already updated please make sure you are using the latest version of X, if not please update it by following the below steps.
- Delete the existing Cornerstone
- Update the X theme to the latest version on automatic updates
- After the X theme is updated, use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone. It will be the latest version.
If that does not help, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

I checked and I do have PHP 8.0 . I deleted Cornerstone, updated X to the latest version and tried to reinstall Cornerstone. When I tried to reinstall Cornerstone, I received this error. I will put my login information in a secure note

Hello @rdavis79,
As per your given error, it seems that there is a plugin conflict issue with W3 Total Cache. I went ahead and checked your site, and it seems that the site is rendering fine now. I also noticed that you have registered your theme license code. Please activate your license. It looks like you have not installed the Slider Revolution plugin. I would suggest you please activate the license to get the bundled plugin and install the Slider Revolution.
Hope it helps
Thanks
Thank you. I activated the license, but when I tried to install the slider revolution, this is the error message I received
Ok, sorry, I got that fixed and got the Revolution slider installed. However, now my homepage is not showing up at all. Can you please help me know what I need to do to fix it. Thank you!
Hey @rdavis79,
Please go to Tools > Site Health > Info. You may need to resolve the performance issue like the Outdated SQL Server. We also recommend that you enable the WP Debug mode.
Best Regards.
Hi, I think I have all of that resolved, but I am still not seeing the revolution slider or essential grid on my homepage as I always have. Thank you for your help.
Hi @rdavis79,
I have checked your website thoroughly and found there is some problem with the Essential Grid, while updating any page after adding any of the Essential Grid, it does not save and redirects to another page. There might be some different reasons behind this problem, I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.
1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache
7.Disabling CDN

NOTE: I have created two different pages through the Cornerstone and WP Bakery and it is working correctly without Essential Grid.
