Website jump on page load

The page jumps on page load. I saw another thread with the same title and tried the settings suggested there but that did not work.

When I use a template with no footer or header this is not the case. Please see links in secure area

I check your homepage on different browser and I don’t see any scrolling. Would you mind giving us video screencast of the issue?

Notice the page loads - then we start scrolling (not the page) - and it jumps back up. It does not do that on pages with no header or footer. It loads - we scroll down to look at the content and it doesn’t jump back up

I have checked your site on Chrome and Firefox and I can’t replicate the scrolling as well.

Would you mind trying to clear your cache and check if there is any browser extension that is causing this?

You need to scroll down - as people normally do to look at the content - after it loads

If you take a look at the browser tab - it has the loading icon and then when it finishes loading it re-freshesand jumps you back up (after I scrolled half down the page) but not on the pages without footer and header

Hi there,

You mean when I scroll down and reload the page, it goes up and then scrolls back into position again? Do you have custom coding that alters scroll position? It looks like it resets to 0, and I can’t reproduce it on my installation. It could be related to plugin or custom javascript.

Would you mind providing your admin and FTP login credentials in a secure note? I’ll check what’s happening.

Hi Rad,

Yes, when you scroll down. It then reloads and scrolls back up. I don’t know what plugin could be doing that…

I can’t provide access - can you take a look to see if you can catch what JS may be doing that

I already checked but can’t go through all of them. Some are obscured and minified and hard to read and analyze. I’ll continue checking but I can’t promise any good result.

Hi there,

I can’t find it, the last thing to do is disable all your plugins and custom script then check if the issue persists. Then check them one by one until you find which plugin is causing that issue.

And for the meantime, please provide your admin login credentials and I’ll do the same thing but make sure to backup your site first.
