Website fonts are not working. Also high load time

Hi,

the website fonts can’t be changed through the theme settings. No matter what font I choose it won’t change and has no effect.

Also, all the headings and subheadings take about 5 seconds longer to load than the standard text that makes the website experience horrible.

I want to fix the Headings to be Sofia Pro - Regular and the standard text to be Nunito. However, the headings on the website are really messed up for some reason.

Hi Alex,
Thanks for reaching out.

Before you use any font, you need to add the font using the Font Manager option available in our theme.
If you are not able to access the Font manager, you may need to enable it from Theme Options > Typography > Enable Font Manager.
I would also suggest you troubleshoot a few common issues:

  1. Testing for Plugin Conflict
  2. CSS/JS Customization
  3. Disabling Cache
  4. Child Theme Issue

If you have already done the above process and still you are not able to use the font, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Admin URL
– WordPress Admin username / password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Regarding the loading time of your website, there are few retina images which is taking the maximum time to load.

Thanks

I’ve added a secure note above with the login details.

The only way I’ve been able to change the fonts for headings is with custom CSS for each individual line that’s a heading (H1, H2, H3). It also doesn’t work on the main theme, I’ve cleared cache, removed all css customization, disabled all plugins 1 by 1 and more…

Hi Alex,

I see that you set “Nunito” fonts in your all headings in Pro > Theme Options > Typography but on the actual page you set your headings title to “Sofia Pro”.

If you want all your headings to use the “Nunito” font, you may choose “Inherit” since you define your headings as “Nunito” in the Typography Theme Options or “Nunito” in the font family options.

Hope that helps and let us know how it goes.

Thank you.

Awesome, thank you!

Any idea how I can stop the staggered load time of headings? If you go to the website you will see the headings take a few seconds longer to load in than everything else!

Hi Alex,

You’re welcome.

Regarding the heading load time, I can’t replicate the issue on my end, it is just loaded without any delay. I suggest you clear your server cache, browser cache and any WordPress plugins cache you have.

Hope that helps and let us know how it goes.

Thank you.
