Website crashed due to error with X theme and Cornerstone

Hi there,

One of my clients website crashed and when I enter the debug mode it seems the crash is due to both X and Cornerstone causing an E_ERROR. Could you help please I don’t know how to solve the problem.

Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry you’re having issues with the site. Do you know what the E_ERROR was specifically? I’ve tried using that link but it says “Recovery Mode not initialized” and won’t let me login.

I can’t reach the back office anymore, I’m asking my client to send me the new link for the debug mode and will send it to you.

Hi @gaga4,

Can you please try updating to the latest versions? If you can’t reach the dashboard you could do this:

  • Delete Cornerstone over FTP (or host file manager)
  • Update X to the latest version
  • Use the link in X to automatically install Cornerstone

Let us know if that gets things working again.

Hi there,

I upadated X yesterday and deactivated Cornerstone and it seems there was a problem with X as well. Maybe it’s better if you check because the problems are coming for from both X and Cornerstone. I’m sending you the new link for wordress ina secure note. Thanks for your help

I’m sorry, it’s still not working. Getting the same message. If you have any more specific error messages please let me know. We’re finalizing the next point release which fixes a few more issues so that may help what you’re seeing.
