Website broken after updating X to 9.0.5

Hello,

I’ve just updated X theme to version 9.0.5 and it appears that all styling is gone on my website. I’ve tried clearing all caches but it didn’t make a difference. I don’t want to accidentally mess anything up, so could I please have some assistance with fixing this issue?

Hi again,

It looks like my issue was that I didn’t update my Cornerstone plugin to the minimum required version after updating X theme. After I updated Cornerstone, everything works fine again. Posting here for anyone else that may have run into the same issue.

Thank you for writing in and glad you sorted things out. Yes, X and Cornerstone need to be on the latest version compatible version to work properly. (refer here for the latest compatible versions)

Also, remember to clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
