Website breaking from updating Page

Hi,

Just been on Chat with Go daddy for over an hour with nothing wrong their end, they tell me its a Plugin or Theme,

Now i just been using the site fine, then last night when I tried to work on a specific page it comes up with not allowing me to save the edits, I then try click on View Page and it comes up with,

This site can’t be reached

modularbuildingsaustralia.com.au took too long to respond.

I cant tell you how frustrating this is, especially as its kicking me out of the website essentially the Godaddy rep could use my website fine… Its almost like the issue only comes when u try save a page…

Been building this site for 4+ years never had an issue like this before, im guessing its a cornerstone/X-theme problem as ive seen a few recent posts,

Need my pages working for tomorrow as its operational, can someone please help and let me know whether it is a X theme/Cornerstone problem or not,

I dont see why a plugin could cause this issue, but i could be wrong.

Thank you,
William

Hey William,

We understand it’s frustrating to not be able to use your website. However, it would be unfair for our theme to be blamed without doing testing.

Checking your under the browser’s console, I immediately see an issue with your web host. Look at the CORS error message. Please have the web host fix that first. The console should be clear of red messages like that.

Once that’s cleared and the issue persists, please do the testing to see if it’s really only our theme is involved in the issue. A lot of 3rd factors could break a WordPress builder. Please do the following tests which I see is applicable to you.

  1. Testing For Plugin Conflict Don’t skip a plugin.
  2. Child Theme
  3. Increasing Php Memory Limit
  4. Permalinks

Only if none of that helps, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin username and password
  • FTP credentials (Your web host can give you this if you’re not familiar)

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Thanks.
