Website behaves weirdly after update [Emergency]

Hi, since I have updated PRO, it started behaving weirdly. Sometimes Cornerstone takes ages to load, sometimes it loads normally (sort of - takes about 10-15 sec), sometimes doesn’t load at all. I started noticing lots of performance issues as well. The thing is, I haven’t done anything else but to update PRO.

I started building a page https://novaclinic.co.uk/lip-enhancement-4 and there is no gap between the slides on the sliders when I’m using mobile. Attaching a screenshot from iPhone 8 Plus

Then I’ve tested the website on another phone - iPhone 8, and the website is completely broken there, the bottom bar is chopped, and I have issues scrolling down

Please can someone have a look at that, I’ve tested for plugin conflicts, but nothing worked

Hello @vlntnt,

Thanks for writing to us.

It seems that is working fine at my end I checked your site on my phone(iPhone 7plus ) and I am not able to recreate the issue that you share in the screenshot. It might be the issue of browser cache issue at your end I would suggest you please purge all the cache and clear your browser cache then check it again.

I also noticed you are using older versions of plugins, I would suggest you please make sure you have updated the plugins to avoid the version compatibility issue. If the issue still persists please let us know.

Thanks

Hi again, all the plugins are up to date now. All the caches were deleted multiple times from the Hummingbird plugin, from browsers and etc.

So in regards to the second screenshot that I sent you where the bottom bar was chopped - this was occurring on my iPhone 8, however I was using iOS 13. I assume that’s what was causing the issue, now I updated the iOS to 15.1, and it’s working fine. I assume though if people are using an older one they might experience the same issue, which is not great.

In regards to the no-gaps problem, that’s also sorted on my iPhone 8, but on the other iPhone 8 Plus, which is also updated to the latest iOS 15.1 the problem is still present.

There is another problem that I experience on both phones. I’ve set the “Learn More” button to go to the anchor of the second section, however when I click it, it doesn’t scroll to the actual section, but to the bottom of the button instead, there is a padding of the top section, which somehow is not accounted for, I’ll attach another screenshot.

Also when I click the button it doesn’t smoothly scroll down to the bottom section, it jumps to it immediately.

Hey @vlntnt,

I see the issues you described but you’re still using Pro 5.1.1. Please update to the latest version of Pro as there were fixes to the jump (hash) link scrolling. Before you update, please remember to follow the best practices mentioned in our update article.

Regarding the gap in the slider, it’s happening in iOS 14 and it looks like a bug as I have replicated it in my site too. Regretfully, there’s no solution in sight so please stay tuned for updates. If you wish, you can download the previous version in your Themeco Dashboard https://theme.co/account/dashboard
