I was prompted (before updating my wordpress) to purchase more from Jetpack so I can backup my website.
Just curious is that the ideal route to go, is to backup my website through jetpack? or are there any other plugins you suggest are better, or do i purchase thru you or my host company? Need your thoughts on this

You can get in touch with host compay to schedule timely backup service for you. Depending on the hosting company they may charge you for this service. Another option would be to use plugins like BackUpWordPress. https://wordpress.org/plugins/backupwordpress/
