Web page loading speed very slow in smartphone version

Hello it turns out that my website is made on the “Auto” template (http://demo.theme.co/auto/), it turns out that like this template the large number of photos that it has at the beginning, when viewing the site from a smartphone the photos cannot be seen correctly, so I had to insert all the images separately and that they could only be viewed from the mobile version (this was recommended to me by you).

But with the latter I have a big problem, since in addition to loading the photo on setting for the mobile version, the photo below is also loaded, which is causing my site to be very slow (it takes 19.5 seconds to load ).

So I would like to know if it is possible that in the mobile version, only the photo above is loaded and the one below does not load to avoid loading the same image twice, which slows down my site.

Please be aware that there is no separate page to load in desktops and mobile screens. All of the page elements will be loaded in all device screens. You may show/hide the images in different screen sizes and still, the server will ser all those images since it is present on the page.

Regretfully it is not possible to load or unload the images in mobile devices screens. It is best that you restructure your page to lighten it up a bit by minimizing the images.
