Wc-arcive category problem

Hello, I have a problem with my category page in woocommerce.
I read a lot and watched the videos on the forum to find answers to my questions. But some things escape me. I made a wc-archive layout to display the product categories, but these do not redirect to the product or sub-category page? It goes to a product directly??
maybe I missed something?

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked your WC Archive layout set to the given URL and the Categories and found these are two different layouts. But checked the Sub Categories pages and it also shows the same Layout as the Categories layout.

If that is not the case and you are trying to point out something else, please provide any screenshot marked with the issue or any video that helps us to recognize the problem.

On the shop page I am on a category section. If I click on the category it leads to a product instead of the subcategory or product page linked to this category.!

This issue is happening because you are linking the column to the permalink of the product.

Please edit your layout and change your link to the Term link instead:

Thank you, it works but if I click on for example “instrumentation” it should fall on a subcategory but nothing is displayed? I tried to assign the category but without success.

I found this info, but I’m not sure if it’s the right thing and where to put the line of code.

After a thorough investigation, I suspect this could be a bug in the latest version theme. I will report it to the Issue Tracker for further investigation by our development team.
Alternately, you can use the Shop layout for parent product categories.
