Warning: array_merge(): Argument #2 is not an array in ...l/wp-includes/load.php on line 63

Hi there,

after updating the PHP Version of my site from 5.6 to 7.1 I am getting a php error

"Warning: array_merge(): Argument #2 is not an array in /home/…/public_html/wp-includes/load.php on line 63"

I have searched the forums and other sources. My plugins, themes and wordpress version are all up to date which resolved the issue for others. Not for me.

Could you please help me resolve this issue? It seems to be theme related.

Thank you.

Hello There,

A warning may occur when a variable in your theme settings is null or not yet initialized. Could you please confirm that you have updated to the latest versions?
Our latest versions are:

  • Pro theme 2.3.6
  • X theme 6.3.6
  • Cornerstone 3.3.6

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

_After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.-

Please let us know how it goes.

Yes, I am running the latest version of Pro theme (2.3.6). I’ve now updated to PHP 7.0 and the problem still persists. Any help would be appreciated. See login in secret note

EDIT: SOLVED

I did this:

Glad it’s okay now and thanks for sharing!
