Want to use Rocketloader and various classic elements

Hi guys,
I’ve read several posts that say “just turn Cloudflare Rocketloader off and your elements will work just fine” . THis is true, but I get significant advantage in speed of my site when I use Rocket loader, so I’d like to figure out how to get around this conflict.

  1. If I’m editing my site, I can turn it off and reinstate it once done, no problem.
  2. Classic Cards don’t show up and are all messed up when we use the Rocketloader, how can I enable both?
  3. Classic CTA - the icon when you hover over it is always off center and only center’s when rocketloader is turned off.

I haven’t searched my site for other stuff, but I’m sure there are. Help, how can I use both because they’re very helpful.

Thanks for writing in!

1.) Caching plugins and minify plugins are best to turn on if you are done creating the pages. This is because you can easily see the changes taking effect right there. And Cornerstone will have a difficulty when these plugins are active.

2.) After you enable the RocketLoader or any other caching plugin, please clear the cache first before testing so that the latest changes and the JS files are used and not the cached version.

3.) Would you mind providing the site url of your site so that we can take a closer look?

  1. yes I usually turn them back on when done editing, in this case I didn’t turn on rocketloader because it was messing with the classes elements

  2. good point. I did clear cache on both WTC3 and Cloudflare before testing with Rocketloader and the issue remained.

  3. The link is behind a closed page. I will grant you permissions and give you log in credentials in a private post.

FYI I’ve got rocketloader off right now so the pages load correctly.

Since this is also related to CF, would you mind providing its login credentials as well? I’d like to test your site while changing your CF’s settings (especially the minification and page rules).

Hi there,

It requires authentication code, please provide it as well. The only way to reproduce the issue is by testing it directly, logging is recommended.

Hi Rad, I just put the security code into the secure note from earlier. Sorry about that. Hopefully it’s still valid, if not, I’ll check back and be faster with getting you the code.

Thank you but unfortunately, the token did not work. Try adding page rules that exclude the following directory from Rocket Loader.

*.example.com/wp-content/themes/x/*
*.example.com/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/*

Sorry about the hassle. I’ve excluded a bunch of pages, but I didn’t exclude these directories. I think it worked. Thank you! I’ll reach back out shortly i it didn’t.
