W3 Total Cache Issue

I’m getting this error: /nas/content/live/manifestcomstg/wp-content is write-able. When finished installing the plugin, change the permissions back to the default: chmod 755 /nas/content/live/manifestcomstg/wp-content . Permissions are currently 775.

How do I fix this?

Hello @meganjcostigan,

Thanks for writing to us.

W3 Total Cache needs the write permission to your wp-content to complete the installation. In order to be able to finish W3 Total cache needs the permissions to be set to 755.
This is what the notification is telling you and it appears that 755 was your default permission to wp-content.

Please have a look at the installation documentation of the W3 Total Cache
https://wpsocket.com/plugin/w3-total-cache/installation/

You can find out more about the file permissions

Please note we don’t provide any third-party plugin support. It is out of the support scope.

Thanks for understanding
