I was told to start a new thread. After some recent udates my visual editor is no longer working. I have tried numerous other things from another thread including resetting my .htaccess, clearing cache, increasing memory etc and nothing has worked.
I rolled back to the previous version of Cornerstone 4.2.3 and everything appears to be working so Im just going back to that.

Thank you for reaching out to us. This happens when there is a plugin conflict. I’d recommend you to update X and Cornerstone to the latest version first and then disable all plugins except Cornerstone and Visual Composer plugins and then try editing your pages.
If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
I would recommend that you create a staging site. This is very useful because you can test drive any X and Pro updates in the staging area, do the customizations and troubleshooting without disrupting your live site. Once everything is perfect, you can easily and flawlessly proceed the update in the live site. To know how to create a staging area, please check out these articles:
