Visual Composer suddenly not loading

Hello Themeco. Our site has been functioning quite well for some time. All of the sudden the WP visa page Maker will not load. It is still reading the VC shortcodes, and you can see them in the page… and everything on the front end looks ok still…

But the page editor will not load. I realize I have some theme, Grid builder and cornerstone updates to do… but wanted to ask you first about this. pdating aall this stuff when it is already malfunctioning makes me very nervous.

There could be a plugin or custom code that affect your Visual Composer.

I recommend the following troubleshooting procedures before we investigate the settings.

  1. TESTING FOR THEME RELATED ISSUE
  2. TESTING FOR PLUGIN CONFLICT
  3. THEME UPDATE
  4. CHILD THEME
  5. CSS/JS CUSTOMIZATION
  6. VERSION COMPATIBILITY

Only if none of those help, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password
