Visual Composer - Post Grid (Random Order Issues)

Hello!

I am trying to set up a post grid that will simply take all of the posts that I have in a specific category and output them in a random order. This is an option under “Data Settings” in the post grid element, but this functionality is definitely not working. I will include my credentials below as well as the url I am working on this functionality on.

Please help! Lol.

Thanks for writing in! I have tried everything and it seems that the login url redirects me to the homepage always. Could you please provide the login url instead?

Really, that’s odd. I am on the login screen right now, but this is the url that is showing up http://www.asti.com/wp-login.php?itsec-hb-token=kanrisha. Is there another way to access it from your end just by knowing the domain?

Hi there,

I’m able to log in now. I checked your provided page and it’s random, but yes, it takes a while to take effect because of your site’s cache. Looks like there is a time interval before the next random items appears. Try loading your page, then wait like 10-15mins and reload it again, it will then display different items.

Hello again. I’ve actually waited a couple of hours now and the caching doesn’t seem to be the issue. I even tried clearing my browser cache completely and it still showed up as the exact same options. Could it be something else?

Hello There,

We have tried everything to login to your site. It still redirects us to the homepage.

All of the url in the secure note, redirects to the homepage.

Please double check and temporarily remove 3rd party plugin that facilitates the login page security.

Hello There,

I was able to logged in and checked the post grid. I even created a test page. I can confirm that the random order is not working. This could potentially be a bug in this latest release. I will be adding this to our issue tracker so that our developers can communicate with the creators of this plugin to let them know that the random order is not working.
