Visual Composer not working, can't add elements

When I click “backend editor,” it just says, “Loading, please wait…” When I created a new page and tried to add an element, the element menu loaded, but when I clicked on a specific element to add (text, slider, etc) nothing happened. According to WP it’s up to date. How do I fix this?

I have checked your site and the version of the Visual Composer is too old. You`re using the 4.1.3. So, you need to try to update the plugin following this article: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 - the latest version is the 5.1.2

I uninstalled and reinstalled X and it’s still not working. What now?

Hi there,

You Visual composer version is still 4.1.3, I think that version is a bundled one in X 3.0 to 4.0. You should update your visual composer to match the latest X theme and cornerstone.
