Visual composer activation

I always see this alert on my wordpress: Hola! Would you like to receive automatic updates and unlock premium support? Please activate your copy of Visual Composer.

DO I NEED to activate this? or is this for the PRO? additional fee?

I`S THIS needed for the Cornerstone? I tried going to that composer page but it says I need to pay

I already bought X THEME…IS THIS not free with it?

No need to activate as it comes bundled with the theme.

You can deactivate the plugin if you are not using it.
