Visibility at element level

Hello,

I would like to have visibility at element level in order to hide some element according to the view width, is it possible?

Hi There,

If you are referring to Cornerstone you can hide the Sections or Row based on the screen size.

Click on the section or row and at the bottom of the left tab, you will find the options to hide it based on screen size.

On the header and footer builder on PRO theme, you can hide elements, containers, and bars by clicking on the customizer tab.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Thank you

I was looking to hide an individual element, for example, an image in a column shouldn’t appear, but the rest of the content in the same column would stay.

Hello armada,

Thanks for writing in! If you’re updated to the latest version of our products, you will find that we have two sets of Elements you can work with now, our Classic Elements and v2 Elements. With our Classic Elements (which were the original Elements released initially with our products, which is likely what you’re using) you can only hide whole sections and rows using the visibility controls. However, with our v2 Elements, you can hide individual elements as you’re describing. So if you wish to hide individual elements, you could look into working with our v2 Elements, but keep in mind these are far more advanced and involved than their Classic Element counterparts.

One other thing you could try if you want is to manually add our “hide” classes to elements as needed. We have 5 classes that we utilize to hide elements at individual breakpoints for the theme: x-hide-xl, x-hide-lg, x-hide-md, x-hide-sm, and x-hide-xs. You can take these and try manually adding them to the Class input of your elements in the combinations you need to have your elements hide.

Hopefully this helps to point you in the right direction. Cheers!

Thank you very much, this is exactly what I needed!

cheers.

Glad to hear we managed to help!
