Viewing white text in the text editor

Hi Themeco Team – Please consider this feature request.

Would it be possible to have text specified as #fff, in the page-builder text editor show up as a very pale grey or similar? It becomes inefficient having to change the colour in order to edit in visual view (which we encourage many of our clients to use) then apply the white colour again.

It would be fantastic if you could consider it and somehow make it happen.
Thank you for your continuous hard work.

Hi there,

Unfortunately, I did not understand the request exactly. Would you please kindly give us context and more detailed information? Give us URLs and Screenshots and the workflow which is annoying and you want to add a feature for.

Thank you.

Hi Christopher,

Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly.

My apologies, I thought it was fairly self-explanatory. I attach a screenshot which I hope clarifies things. Basically, if you have text specified as #fff/white, the white text does not show in the editor at all in visual view, until you highlight it or change the colour. Please let me know if you still need further explanation or a url.

Hello @KarenCooper,

I tried replicating on my local setup and I am unable to replicate the same on my end. I have created a screencast and please have a look. https://screencast.com/t/KdFzz9hzOJ

Kindly let me know if I am missing something. Also will it be possible for you to share login details in a secure note for us to take a closer look?

Thanks.

Hello @KarenCooper,

Please accept my apologies for the confusion as I misinterpreted your earlier response. WYSIWYG editor will preview the color changes you make. I have forward this to our developers to look into the matter regarding text color white and not being able to see until selected.

Thanks.
