Video tutorials don't look like what I see

I’m basically 100% confused at this point.

When I look through the documentation and at the online video tutorials, what I see looks nothing like what’s on my actual site builder view.

What am I doing wrong?

I have the most recent version of Pro installed.

There are some UI changes on the latest release of the Pro theme if you compare them to older documentation. Can you please let us know what you are trying to achieve so that we can help you?

Well, kind of everything. I’ve always used the Classic editor, and am trying to figure out Cornerstone and the header builder, just to start.

I’m revamping my website and wanted to basically start the design from scratch.

I should add that I’m highly technical - I grew up in software development and since then have coded HTML and CSS for years. I can usually figure out any tool, but … sigh!

Let’s start with: how can I right-justify the menu on my header?

Using the Hero template: If I take away the logo on the left side, the menu automatically lands on the left.

Likewise, how can I shrink the space between the menu and the header image?

What is the optimum size for the header image if I want it to always fill the screen? I’ve looked at the Better Headers videos on YouTube, but the controls aren’t behaving the same as what’s there. They don’t look the same and if I find the Height control, for instance, it doesn’t take “100vh” as a valid dimension.

I’m uploading two menu views - one from my install, the other from the video.

Thanks for any help you can give - I’m happy to look at videos and docs if you can point me to where I can find these types of solutions!

Hi @gljudson,

As my colleague, @prakash_s says that the documentation videos are made on the older version of the theme, whereas the latest version of the theme has an updated version of controls. With respect to your screenshot, the Height with Auto option can be changed by clicking into the Three Dots just beside the box, where you can select the Unit like VH, PX, % and etc.
Please find the screenshot describing that. There are many UIs of other options and controls that are changed during the up-gradation of the theme.
