Hi, the video added on top of my page stops playing after the page is fully loaded. Any idea why? A better way to add a video to a page?
Hi @mcostales84,
It will be very difficult to recognize the issue without investigating through the admin dashboard. Can you please create a separate thread and provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
Thanks
I added the credentials on the first post. The issue is on the Homepage, you will see a section named Hero w/ Video, that one.
Hi @mcostales84,
Thank you for the credentials, there might be something there that you want to do that I don’t understand, but it seems you made the hero set up a little bit complicated than it should, can you make that one section with the video background (using the .mp4 URL), and remove the other Youtube video?
It seems the real issue here is the Youtube videos that you put on the Video Player element, it should be Video Embed and use the embed code that Youtube provides. You can not have multiple Video Players playing simultaneously (that is native to Wordpress), when one video player starts, the other will stop, from top to bottom.
Hope that helps,
Cheers,
Thank you @friech!!!
I was complicating things. I can’t use the embed code from YouTube because it brings a lot of data, but thanks to you, I realized I didn’t need to put that video player there, instead I used the video as a background on the section and leave the column empty and with a min height set, and voilà! Now is working really smooth, even in mobile!
We are delighted to assist you with this.
Cheers!
