Video Section Problem

Hello folks,

I’ve created a section and choosed to have a video as background. instead of an image. Everything works perfect but unfortunately, the video can not be displayed on mobile.

As I saw on other topics, this is disabled by X Theme because of the high data.

I really need to have the video visible on mobile. Any ideas how can I do it?

Thanks for writing in!

We are really sorry but there is no such setting to enable video for mobile device. However, you can set a fallback image to load in the mobile device.

If you really want the video to load in mobile device, which need custom development, we are really sorry but that is something out of our theme support scope.

You can add the image by clicking on the empty area with a cross icon.

I really need to find a way to autoplay a video on mobile. Any suggestions? I am a developer myself. Any hint its more than welcome. Thanks!

Hi there,

That’s not currently possible, most mobile devices disable auto-play and it needs user interaction (to play it). You wouldn’t want your visitors to get extra chargers just because of the used bandwidth when the video plays . And it’s just one of many reasons.
