Video player not playing, and controls disappearing

Hello,

Im trying to use the video player element in cornerstone and having issues.

I add an .mpv url into the url section, then i add an image for the poster.
Yet when i load the page for users, the controls popup momentarily then disappear and no amount of clicking will make the video play.

I have tried using the shortcode as well with no luck.

what might be happening?
