Video on top layer not showing transparency

Hi! We have a section with a video in both the upper and lower layers. The top video has an animated logo with a transparent background that we want to have playing overtop of the video in the lower layer, but the transparent background is just black and covers up the video in the bottom layer. Is there a way around this?

Thanks for writing in.

It’s not supported by the browser, or it needs special implementation. An example is here http://www.sciencelifeny.com/transparency/transparency.html#, and HTML5 Video is used along with canvas elements. I recommend converting your video to GIF with transparency and set it as a background image.
