Video how can I make it load faster?

Hi

  1. I added a video to my website and compared to other websites it takes quite a time to load.
    I even have added a poster image. So how can I speed it up? (Reduce the file size? )

Hey Nimue,

Regarding the video not showing. It could be because your using MPG and it’s not supported. You should use MP4.

Regarding video performance, regretfully, that is not covered by the theme. Generally, the shorter the video, the lower its file size so the browser can download it fast.

You also need to consider video compression. We can’t cover that in theme support though so you might want to consult with a third party developer who has experience in video optimization.
