Video header not show an accurate thumbnail on mobiles

Hi there,

I’m using a revolution slider for my video header and all is fine but I ticked the suggested box to create a thumbnail of the video for mobile devices as they don’t support autoplayback.

The problem is that the thumbnail is not a true thumbnail but a small Vimeo video window with visible controls and you can also see the video buffering but you can’t press any of the buttons.

Please help me to fix it or tell me if there’s a way of having auto play on mobile devices. I would even settle for a gif.

Unfortunately, at the moment there is no stable solution on the web regarding auto play in mobile devices because of the policy of device manufacturers, and due to may different factors from the CPU usage to the internet data usage of the videos in mobile. Moreover, you can use a video to gif converter, then add your GIF image as standard image layer or background image. Here’s a tool you can use:
