Video element not work in safari and firefox

I have encountered a problem and it is that an embeded video is seen correctly in the frontend in chrome, but it is not shown either in safari or firefox … any ideas?

Hey Mauro,

I don’t see the embedded video even in Chrome. It’s because the embed code lacks the src attribute of the iframe.

Please use the correct embed code from Youtube.

I have tested your Youtube video in a video element on my local testing server. The video display in both Firefox and Safari. There could be something in your WP installation that is change the video embed code. To better assist you with your issue, kindly provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:

Hey Mauro,

I deactivated all third-party plugins and your Youtube video showed up. That means one of the third-party plugins is removing the src attribute from the iframe if you’re logged out.

Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Note that I should not have done the plugin conflict test myself because it will disrupt the operation of your site but I have no choice because I have to test it to prevent further back and forth here. Please do a plugin conflict test next time before reporting an issue.

The conflicting plugin is cookie bot, but I do not understand that you remove the src tag from the YouTube video but not the vimeo below … it is very rare!
