Video background resolution

Hi I’m trying to set a video background and I’m having trouble with keeping it decent quality when I set it to the background in the correct section the video seems to be lower quality.

Is there a resolution that is preferred for these?

Would you mind providing a sample URL to test with? Is it Vimeo or Youtube? The quality may depends on the provider.

The video is uploaded directly to the website, which format is best and at what resolution?

Hi There,

The best format is MP4 for the video, but the resolution depends on dimension of the video.
If you have a small dimension video then it may be looking stretched.
Without checking the URL we can’t give you a proper solution. Please send the URL where you have the video so that we can have a look.
