Hello,

I am getting an F grade from GT metrix in regards to the poster image in my video background being resized. Here is the report

Is there a fix for this?

I very much compressed it.

Its resized in HTML or CSS from 1024x576 to 0x0. which is triggering the error.

What would you suggest to be an appropriate size for that?

Hi John,

It depends on the file/image size and nothing to do with the image height and width.
Please compress and resize it with the proper aspect ratio of 16:9 to get the proper output, and check the GTMatrix till the satisfactory result.

HI there,

Thanks for your help so far. I resized the poster image to 16:9 and compressed it as best as I could, However, that same error is still being triggered.

I have attached the image in question. I ran it through compressior.io to make sure it was up to par.

I eneded up removing the poster image for desktop and created a second section just for mobile that uses a BG image instead and that seemed to take care of it
