Video background not working on iPhone

Hey there,

I can see this has come up multiple times and I think I know what’s going on, but wanted to be sure.

I’ve got a landing page with video background here: https://3milerundown.com

And yes, it’s not working on iPhone. From previous replies it looks as if that might be down to my mobile carrier restricting auto-play video content in order to save data. Is that right? And is there any kind of workaround? It works okay on iPad through wifi.

Hello Shaun,

Thanks for posting in! By default, background videos are automatically disabled in smaller screens. We recommend that you add a Poster Image so that in small screen or mobile device, the image will be shown as the replacement of the background video.
