Video background not playing on Mobile

I’ve seen similar issues to this post! But there doesnt seem to be a straight forward resolution to the problem

Im using a video playing from a URL which is located in the Media section of wordPress…The video plays fine on desktop but won’t load anything on mobile!

Any solution or advise would be great!

Hi Oliver,

Background videos are disabled for mobile devices due to some reasons including that they are bandwidth hungry. We instead encourage users to use a poster image that is to show on mobile devices instead of the video.

Hope this explains it.

I thought that might have been the case… I’ve replaced the background with an image now on mobile and works great
