I want to add this video as the background for my header except it’s just showing up as grey

It sounds like you’re using the iframe code? You should use self hosted video or use a direct to video link like http://example.com/video.mp4
If you own the video, you can upload the mp4 to your site and use the link for the background video. It does not support iframe.
