I began an inquiry into this last month. But I was never able to get enough detail about the steps to take and the specific elements involved. Then the time ran out. And the topic was dropped. So I am starting again. I want to use a video as a background to a section.
Is it possible to make video appear full-width in a section? If so how do you do it? I am not concerned about perfect fit top and bottom. I just want it to bleed left and right. It also does not have to be a background image. It could be in any kind of html container as long as it is full-width on screen.

Thanks for posting in! I have inspected your page with the video background in it. The video is not showing because you have used a Youtube video link. Please be advised that you are not supposed to your video hosted in 3rd party sites such as Youtube or Vimeo. The video background will only work if you have uploaded the video in your WordPress Dashboard > Media gallery and insert the direct video URL eg. https://example.com/my-video-file.mp4.
And also, you may need to set a minimum height in your column so that there would be enough space to display the video within the section.
