Video autoplay on mute

Hey Phillip,

I tested the Video element with the settings you can see in the screenshot below. The video auto-plays with sound.

I also tested the Classic Video Player and it works the same. Please ensure everything is up to date and try replicating the setup.

Hi Christian,

You misunderstood. It should autoplay WITHOUT SOUND. Then, the user on the front-end should have the ability to unmute it and play sound.

Hello Brandon,

You will have to enable the controls so that the user on the front end can unmute or play the sound when you have set it to autoplay but muted.

Sorry for the confusion. Just adding here that I also tested the muted version. Please watch this screencast for proof that it works in the latest version.
