Very confused. Content not showing up in Cornerstone

Hey. I have just dropped back into the X-Theme after a long hiatus. Everything about Cornerstone has changed. I upgraded to ‘Pro’ a while ago and am willing to check out how to work with the new system, however, I can’t even * SEE * my content. It doesn’t show up in Cornerstone visually (the text did, but that’s about it) and does not show up when I publish.

Would like some help. Totally lost here. Am going to look through some support articles on the new system but would very much appreciate some help.

The page is throwing a 404 error, that means the page is not exist or the parma link setup has different URL.

Hi There,

The pages you are trying to edit in cornerstone are not build with cornerstone. Thats why the contents are not visible.
if you forcefully edit the page with cornerstone it may delete the content.

It is not clear. I went into the site, into a post, and clicked ‘edit in Cornerstone’, This brought up the seemingly new way of building pages, with Sections, Columns, etc. and a whole host of new options. I’m not sure what’s going on. What do you mean ‘it wasn’t built in cornerstone?’ I could show a screenshot of what I’m talking about if you need

Hi there,

Sorry for the miss understanding!
The content you created for the post or page through WordPress editor and now you are trying to edit it with cornerstone.
Cornerstone doesn’t support the content build outside it. If you have created the content with cornerstone and you are facing the issue, please let us know the page or post, we will look on to it.
Please keep in mind that changes outside of Cornerstone will not be saved and loaded when you edit the page back in Cornerstone. You must make your changes inside Cornerstone alone.

that’s not how I saw that happening though. I went in, did ‘New Post’, then went to ‘Cornerstone’, which opened up the cornerstone builder, then put things together in that, saved it, and then published it, which showed me nothing.

Hi there,

There seems to be an issue with the theme you have setup for https://journeyhome.intothemythica.com.

Please try to go to Appearance > Themes and you will see the message: The active theme is broken. Reverting to the default theme.

is there any reason why you have two child theme installed? Also, X that is installed on the site is not the updated version while you are using an update Cornerstone version which might be causing the conflict.

Kindly check your themes and activate the correct one and update the parent theme to the latest version.

Please make sure to keep a full backup of the site before updating.
